Orly Airport to Paris: The Complete Transport Guide

Orly is about 15 km south of Paris — the closest of the Paris airports to the city centre. Flights from Europe, North Africa and some long-haul routes arrive here.

Orly's terminals

Orly now has four numbered terminals. Orly 1 and 2 (formerly Orly West) handle most international flights and Air France. Orly 3 and 4 (formerly Orly South) handle domestic flights, Transavia and easyJet. Your boarding pass or airline app shows your terminal.

Public transport

Public transport from Orly means combining the Orlyval shuttle or a bus with the RER or the metro. It is inexpensive, but usually involves at least one change and some stairs — manageable with a backpack, much harder with a pushchair, several suitcases or reduced mobility.

Private transfer

A pre-booked transfer takes you door to door in 25 to 45 minutes via the A6, depending on traffic. When to leave for your flight

We recommend being at Orly 1h30 before a domestic flight and 2 hours before an international flight, a little more during school holidays.

Connecting from a train station

Orly is also the easiest airport for a train-to-plane connection: Gare Montparnasse is only 20 to 30 minutes away. A transfer from any main Paris station to Orly costs €49 in a standard car.

Travelling as a group

For five or more travellers, a 7-seat van to Orly (€95) costs less than two standard cars (€98), and everyone travels together with their luggage.
