Visiting Paris in a Wheelchair: Airport and City Transfers

Much of the Paris Metro is not step-free, which makes a private transfer the simplest option for many wheelchair users and travellers with reduced mobility.

Two kinds of vehicle

• •Folding wheelchair or walker: a standard car or 7-seat van, with the driver helping you in and stowing the chair.
• •Non-folding or electric wheelchair: a ramp-equipped vehicle where you stay in your wheelchair, secured with a 4-point tie-down.

At the airport

Paris airports offer free assistance for passengers with reduced mobility, booked through your airline, usually at least 48 hours before the flight. It takes you from the aircraft to the arrivals hall. Our driver takes over at an agreed accessible meeting point, with a name board, and helps with the luggage and the chair.

Prices

A CDG–Paris transfer in a 7-seat van (folding wheelchair, walker) costs €110, tolls included. Trips in a ramp-equipped vehicle are quoted on request and confirmed before you book.
