Wheelchair Accessible Taxi in Paris — Reduced Mobility Transport
Allo Taxi Premium provides real door-to-door transport for people with reduced mobility across Paris and the whole Île-de-France region. Depending on your situation, we send a ramp-equipped vehicle (access ramp, lowered floor) so you can travel seated in your own wheelchair — manual or electric — or a saloon car / van with driver assistance if you use a folding wheelchair, a walker or a cane. Fixed price confirmed before the ride, driver trained to assist passengers with reduced mobility, advance booking recommended.

Which vehicle for which situation
You walk with a cane or a walker: a standard saloon car is enough. The driver helps you sit down, stows the walker in the boot and walks you to the door on arrival.
You use a folding wheelchair: we send a van. You transfer to the vehicle seat, the wheelchair is folded and stowed, then handed back on arrival. A companion travels with you at no extra charge.
You use a non-folding or electric wheelchair: an adapted vehicle is required. You board via a ramp (or lowered floor) and stay seated in your wheelchair for the whole trip, secured with a 4-point tie-down system plus an individual seatbelt. Give the wheelchair type, weight and dimensions when booking — most models are accepted, the heaviest electric chairs need a quick check.
When to book a reduced-mobility taxi
Discharge from hospital or a clinic, including evenings and weekends — home or to a follow-up care facility.
Non-reimbursed medical appointments: consultation, scan, physiotherapy, lab tests — with or without on-site waiting.
Transfer to an airport (CDG, Orly, Beauvais) or a Paris train station, for you or for a relative with reduced mobility who is arriving or leaving.
Family visits, ceremonies (weddings, funerals), cultural outings, administrative errands, moving a relative into assisted living or a care home.
Payment and reimbursement
Allo Taxi Premium is not contracted with the French health insurance system (Assurance Maladie). Reduced-mobility rides are billed directly to the client — private individual, family, care home or company — with a detailed invoice you can submit to your private insurer.
If your seated transport is medically prescribed and reimbursable, you need a state-contracted taxi ("taxi conventionné") or a light medical vehicle (VSL). This is not an ambulance: no stretcher transport, no heavy medical equipment.
Fixed price, no surge
24/7 availability
7-seat vans for groups

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry electric wheelchairs?
Yes, with our ramp-equipped vehicle: you board via a ramp and stay in your chair, secured with a 4-point tie-down. Give the model, weight and dimensions when booking — most electric chairs fit, a few very heavy ones need a prior check.
How far in advance should I book?
The accessible vehicle is limited in number: book 24 to 48 hours ahead. For a van with assistance (folding wheelchair, walker) we can often help the same day, subject to availability.
Is the ride reimbursed by health insurance?
No, we are not a state-contracted taxi. The ride is billed directly with a detailed invoice for your private insurer. For medically prescribed, reimbursed seated transport you need a taxi conventionné or a VSL.
Does the driver help me leave my flat?
The driver comes to your front door and walks you to the vehicle with your bags. Carrying a person up or down stairs is not done without prior agreement — state the floor and whether there is a lift when booking.
Can a carer travel with the passenger?
Yes, one companion or carer travels free of charge. Mention it when booking so the vehicle is suitable.
Can a relative book from abroad?
Yes. A family member can book, pay and be notified that the passenger has been picked up and has arrived safely.
Do you do round trips with waiting?
Yes. For a medical appointment or an errand the driver can wait on site and take you back, billed as a flat rate based on the waiting time.
Which area do you cover?
Paris and the whole Île-de-France region (92, 93, 94, 77, 78, 91, 95), plus Beauvais airport.
