Which vehicle depending on the patient's condition
A patient who can walk but remains weak after hospitalisation: a saloon car is enough, with driver help getting in and carrying the bag.
A patient with a folding wheelchair or a walker: we favour a van, simpler for settling in and stowing the equipment.
A patient with a non-folding or electric wheelchair: a ramp-equipped vehicle is required, so the patient stays seated for the whole trip, secured with a 4-point tie-down.
What we carry — and what we don't
We accept the wheelchair (manual or electric), the walker, crutches, the discharge bag, and light equipment such as a portable oxygen concentrator if you mention it when booking.
This is not a medical transport service: no stretcher, no lying-down transport, no heavy medical equipment, and the driver provides no medical supervision during the trip. A prescribed lying-down transport or medical supervision requires an ambulance or a light medical vehicle (VSL).
